The Institute staff are members of many international and national scientific institutions such as: Association of Germanists of the Czech Republic, German Association of Germanists, etc.

The Institute has extensive relations with Germanist workplaces and universities in German-speaking countries and internationally, especially with the universities in Augsburg, Braunschweig, Regensburg, Passau, Vienna, Salzburg and Linz.
